2010-2011 Cheer Team Placement Information
The FIRE believes everyone has a place on one of our competitive teams. At our team placements, the FIRE staff will determine your team based on your age, abilities and the needs of the team. Everyone gets place on a team!
Parent/Athlete Meet & Greet Sunday, May 2, 2010 - 1:30pm-3:00pm Parents and athletes are invited to come by the gym this Sunday to receive their FIRE ELITE CHEER Family Handbook for the 2010-2011 season. The handbook will include standards of conduct, attendance expectations, communciation plan, payment options, tentative competition schedule, calendar, contact information, and cheer glossary. It will also include registration forms that are necessary for the athlete to begin participating in pracices on Monday, May 3rd. Please bring insurance information for your athlete, your choice of payment plan, your athlete's t-shirt size, and your questions. While the parents work with the family handbook and get to know each other, the athletes will schmooze, work, and play with her teammates and coaches in the gym. (Due to limited space, please send only one parent to the meeting.)

Teams
Tiny's: Competitive all-star team, ages 5 and under.
Mini: Competitive all-star team, ages 8 and under. Fire Mini's compete at 5-8 regional competitions a year. No tryouts, open enrollment.
Youth: Competitive all-star team, ages 11 and under. Attend 8 competitions regionally and nationally, tryout for placement on the silver or black youth teams. (all kids are accepted onto a team)
Junior: Competitive all-star team, ages 14 and under. Attend 8 competitions regionally and nationally. Call to schedule your private evaluation.
Senior Team: Competitive All star team, ages 14 and under. Attends 8 competitions. Back tucks needed. Team placements on individual basis.
Hip Hop Dance Team: Ages 11 and under, compete at 8 competitions regionally and nationally. Call to schedule your trial class. Dance is scheduled to allow our cheerleaders to cross over and do both cheer and hip hop!
Senior Hip Hop Team: Ages 19 and under nationally competitive team. This team competes through out the year. Advanced level team. Excellent for high school dance team members and serious dancers!
Fire Flys: Beginning cheer class for kids to learn the basic fundamentals of cheerleading, dance and tumbling! Fire Fly's practice one hour a week and are invited to join the all-star teams in our parades and other events we attend. FIRE offers thes e classes at many different times throughout the week. No competitions, no uniforms, no extra costs! Come learn to FLY with the FIRE!
Hot Shots: Come be apart of the worlds Hottest parent cheer team! This is a great way to get in shape and have a blast at the same time.
